Hello to all the partners, volunteers, supporters and school liaisons for Weekend Survival Kits:
I am excited to join the WSK team! This is my first venture into the non-profit sector, and I am eager to be part of something that will directly benefit my community. I come from a corporate administrative background, most recently working at the global headquarters of a chemical manufacturing company. While working there, I was most fulfilled while volunteering on many different committees. I was even the leader of our internal Wellness Team that created programs to keep employees healthy. I am excited to take my desire to help others and apply it to a real-world immediate need. I am looking forward to working with like-minded colleagues and volunteers and helping to fulfill the WSK mission of “giving hope to hungry kids.”
When I am not working with WSK, I enjoy crafting, thrift store shopping, and taking care of my many houseplants. I am also a coach and athlete at my local CrossFit gym.
