Volunteer Packing Session – Evening- Hill Center
March 6 @ 5:30 pm - 8:00 pmFree
Welcome to the volunteer packing session at the Hill Center in Lansing. This March the theme is: Wearing of the Green. The color green is associated with renewal, growth, and hope! At Weekend Survival Kits our faith in humanity is renewed every time we have a volunteer packing session for the weekend food kits. As our mission and census of those we serve continues to grow we count on our volunteer “army” to join in and help! So, this month of March wear your green proudly, knowing that you are truly giving hope to hungry kids.
If you are a first time as a volunteer at a packing session, be sure to visit our Volunteer page to fill-out a photo and liability release form, and fill out the Volunteer interest and availability form. When you are finished volunteering, visit our Home Page and click on the link above the clipboard to record your service hours. (This is very helpful for Weekend Survival Kits as we solicit support from funders and should only take a few minutes.
